A Novea Energies solar street lamp was installed on the Gambetta car park in Noisy le Grand, in Seine-Saint-Denis (France). This solar-powered unit illuminates the parking spaces of the Gambetta car park, to provide safety and comfort for users. Being totally autonomous, this lamppost does not require any subscription to an electricity supplier. Simple to install, only a concrete base is needed to anchor it to the ground without any other heavy work (trenching, track repairs, etc.). This COMBI TOP 3 is equipped with a 160 Wp solar panel with TEKK S luminaire and a 532 Wh battery located under the solar panel with management electronics. Autonomous lighting powered by solar energy is a sustainable choice because it limits environmental impacts by offering an alternative to the consumption of fossil fuels and polluting energy. The 532 Wh battery and the energy management system of this lamp post allow the lighting to be adapted as required, thus limiting light pollution. As the car park is only occasionally used and visited at night, the lighting is programmed to mark out the premises all night long thanks to a 10% standby time which is combined with a presence detection system that raises the lighting power to 100% for 45 seconds when a user is detected.
