Nearly seventy Novea Energies lampposts have been installed around the Georges Gratiant stadium in the town of Le Lamentin, Martinique (972). This stadium, which is the second largest stadium in Martinique, is now secured by the solar lighting of sixty-six COMBI TOP 3 GRIFF S and three COMBI TOP 5 GRIFF S. The lighting provided by these lampposts ensures the comfort and safety of users in the vicinity of the stadium. They can therefore attend sporting events without worrying about nightfall. They can leave the stadium or return to their vehicles in complete safety and with the comfort of light. The sixty-six COMBI TOP 3 are equipped with a 160 Wp solar photovoltaic panel positioned at the head of the mast, and a battery (stored under the solar panel) of 819 Wh. The three COMBI TOP 5 COMBI TOP 5 are equipped with a 295 Wp solar panel and a 1,408 Wh battery. The Ragni luminaires used in all of these street lamps, all with a lamp height of 5 metres, are Griff S. The colour chosen for these sets is RAL 9002, grey white. The street lamps light up at full power for four hours after dusk, then switch to dimming mode to provide lighting around the stadium and athletics track throughout the night, thanks to a 20% standby time and a presence detection system that allows full power to be restored when a user needs it. The autonomous lighting solution was the most suitable for this installation, as its installation did not require any heavy work (trenching, track repairs, etc.) unlike traditional lighting connected to the network, but only a solid concrete base for anchoring to the ground. This allowed for a simplified installation, without generating any disturbance for the sporting events taking place at the stadium. In addition, no subscription to an electricity supplier is required, making this solution completely autonomous. Solar lighting also has an ecological advantage, as it is an alternative solution to the consumption of fossil fuels, thus limiting the environmental impact of public lighting. Novéa Énergies solar street lights are equipped with batteries with Endurance + technology, developed after 6 years of Research and Development in partnership with the C.E.A. energy storage laboratory. (French Atomic Energy Commission) in Grenoble. Our Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries offer the longest service life on the market, (over 22 years with an overall capacity loss of 20%), which means fewer component replacements, less production and waste management and thus a limited impact on the environment. Novéa Énergies lampposts are EN40 approved and perfectly dimensioned for cyclonic areas such as Martinique. We carry out a mechanical study which guarantees a safe installation of the lamppost and its maintenance over time because the wind load of the solar panel and its weight oblige us to study precisely the mechanical strength of the whole assembly. We produce calculation notes for the masts and concrete blocks, taking into account the model of the solar lamppost, the geographical area and the nature of the ground, in order to validate the mechanical strength of the mast according to the wind zone of the installation site and its anchorage in the ground.
