STAND-ALONE SOLAR LIGHTING AT PACHOTTES CAR PARK (69)

The Pachottes car park at Simandres in the Rhône (69 – France) was equipped with Novea Energies solar stand-alone lamp. This car park serves both the park and the party hall Pachottes.

These are six autonomous candelabra that have been installed in the Pachottes car park. Among them, four Combi Top 2 with a 100 Wp solar panel with GRIFF S luminaire and a 345 Wh battery and two Combi Top 3 with a 160 Wp solar panel with GRIFF S double crosse luminaire and a battery of 704 Wh.

The quality lighting provided by the Novea Energies solar-powered streetlights ensures the comfort and safety of users of the Pachottes car park. Luminaires turn on at full power for two and a half hours after dusk. During the remainder of the night, presence detection is triggered to turn on full power for 45 seconds when a presence is detected.

The choice of the autonomous was the simplest solution to meet the need of lighting on this isolated car park. In traditional wired electric solution, heavy civil works (trench, track repair) and the establishment of network would have been very expensive. With solar autonomous, only a concrete block is sufficient for anchoring on the ground. The integration of this energy-autonomous lighting solution has facilitated installation work while limiting investment.

Public lighting powered by solar energy also has the advantage of being an ecological solution. It is an alternative to the consumption of fossil and polluting energies, which thus makes it possible to limit the environmental impacts by offering an alternative to the consumption of fossil and polluting energies. In addition, the operation of these street lamps being completely autonomous, no electric subscription to an energy supplier is necessary.
