Four COMBI TOP 2 solar street lights were installed in the town of Beauregard, Ain (01). These street lamp posts are located at the parking lot of the bowling playground, a subdivision of three houses and the place Anne de Beaujeu. COMBI TOP 2 Novéa Energies are equipped with a 100 Wp solar panel and a 345 Wh battery. The four lampposts installed in Beauregard are equipped with a GRIFF S luminaire, which brings a modern and sober touch at the same time, thanks to its refined style and its tapered look. The two candelabras of the subdivision and that of the parking of bowling games have a light height of five meters, while the street lamp of the place Anne de Beaujeu has a light height of four meters. The lighting provided by these four solar-powered street lights ensures the comfort and safety of users and passers-by, who can thus access their home, their car or simply take the paths of these three places in complete safety. The four solar street lights turn on at 10% lowering mode at nightfall, thus ensuring all-night markup. Presence detection sensors are installed on all streetlights, so they switch to full power for 45 seconds before returning to dimming mode at 10%. They finally go out at dusk. This mode of operation was chosen to correspond to the functioning of the traditional street lights installed on the commune, which have a break during the full night, where the passage is practically nonexistent. The choice of the autonomous for this public lighting allowed a simple installation, without heavy works of civil engineering and installation of networks, a concrete solid mass was enough for the anchoring on the ground. Indeed, it would have been complicated and much more expensive to make a trench for this punctual lighting. The autonomous solar is an alternative solution to the consumption of fossil and polluting energies, to limit the environmental impacts. The Novéa Énergies solar streetlights are equipped with batteries Endurance + technology, developed after 6 years of research and development in partnership with the energy storage laboratory of C.A.E. (Commission of Atomic Energy) of Grenoble. These Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries offer the longest service life of the market, over 22 years (up to an overall capacity loss of 20%). The extension of the service life of a battery limits the use of primary resources and greatly reduces the recycling stream.
