An autonomous Novea Energies streetlight has been installed in the parking lot of the town hall and library building of the commune of Bezu St Eloi, in France.\r\n\r\nThis solar-powered street lamp illuminates the parking spaces reserved for users of the town hall and library parking lot, providing them with safety and comfort. Being totally autonomous, this lamppost does not require any subscription to an electricity supplier and its anchoring on the ground is made of concrete.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis COMBI TOP 3 is equipped with a 160 Wp solar panel with TEKK S luminaire and a 704 Wh battery located under the solar panel with management electronics. The choice of the autonomous solar-powered unit was made naturally for its durable appearance and ease of installation. Indeed, this ecological solution limits environmental impacts by offering an alternative to the consumption of fossil fuels and polluting energies. The other advantage is that, thanks to its 704 Wh battery and its energy management system, this floor lamp limits light pollution by lighting only when needed and not throughout the night when there is no traffic.\r\n\r\nThe luminaire switches on at full power for 4 hours from dusk and 2 hours in the morning before switching off at dawn. Between these two periods, a dimming mode and presence detection system is activated. Thus, when no user is present, the mode is lowered to 10% to ensure that the parking lot is marked out. As the parking lot is seldom used or visited in the middle of the night, it is not necessary to illuminate at full power during this time slot, which is why full power lighting is limited to time slots where use is common and a detection system takes over for the rest of the night, if a user needs it occasionally.\r\n\r\nNovea lampposts are equipped with batteries featuring Endurance+ technology, which, thanks to its Lithium LiFePO4 cells and its unique energy flow management, offers the best life expectancy on the market.
