Thirteen autonomous Novéa Énergies solar streetlights were installed at the Social Security headquarters in Cayenne, Guyana (973). It is the site managers who opted for this solution to secure the parking that was previously plunged into darkness.Of the thirteen COMBI TOP 3 candelabra with a solar panel of 160 Wp, ten are equipped with double sticks and three with a single stick, all with GRIFF S luminaire. This quality solar street lighting brings a comfort not insignificant to the users of the car park, and facilitates the work of the guard post which can now perfectly visualize the comings and goings in the car park. The thirteen solar street lamps light up at dusk and light up in full power (30 W) during the next five hours. The rest of the night, they operate in lowering mode at 40%, before going out at dawn. The choice of the standalone for this car park, which did not have lighting until then, made it possible to avoid heavy civil works (trench, road repair) and the installation of network. In traditional wired electrical solution, the connection to the electrical network would have been expensive. A concrete block was sufficient for anchoring on the ground. The integration of this autonomous lighting solution into energy has thus facilitated the installation work and made it possible to limit the investment. Public lighting powered by solar energy is also an ecological solution because it allows to limit the environmental impacts by offering an alternative to the consumption of fossil and polluting energies. In addition, the operation of these candelabra does not involve any electric subscription to the energy supplier, and thus allows to limit expenses.
