Novea solar street lamps light up a large car park in Martinique

The Eole car park in Fort de France, Martinique (972) is now lit by seventeen Novea Energies solar street lamps. These street lamps are all COMBI TOP 5 with TEKK M luminaire with a seven meters light height, equipped with a 260 Wp solar panel and a 1,064 Wh battery located in a box under the solar panel. Of these, nine are single-bracket and eight are double-brackets to illuminate two sections of parking spaces, thus limiting the duplication of lampposts.

 

These solar sets illuminate the parking spaces in the car park to provide safety and comfort to users.

novea-energies-combi-top-5-tekk-m-martinique-2Autonomous lighting powered by solar energy is a sustainable choice because it limits environmental impacts by offering an alternative to the consumption of fossil fuels and polluting energy. Being completely autonomous, these streetlights do not require any subscription to an electricity supplier. Easy to install, only a concrete block is needed to anchor them to the ground, without any other heavy work (trench, track repairs, etc.).

The 1,064 Wh battery and the energy management system of this streetlight allow the lighting to be adapted as required, thus limiting light pollution. As the traffic and traffic on this car park is concentrated in the early hours of the night, the luminaires only illuminate at full power during the first five hours after dusk. A watch is then triggered (25% for single-bracket lampposts and 20% for double-bracket lampposts) to mark out the premises, combined with a presence detection system that raises the lighting power to 100% when a user is detected.
