Novéa Energies illuminates highway rest areas north of Orléans (45)

Solar streetlights are ideally suited for illuminating highway rest areas and parking. In the Orléans sector, several rest areas are now equipped with Novéa Énergies stand-alone lamps, which ensure the safety and comfort of users.

The Orléans-Gidy and Orléans-Saran highway rest stops, on each side of the A10 north of Orléans, are illuminated by thirty of our COMBI TOP 5 solar street lights. These lampposts are equipped with a solar panel of 270 Wp and a battery of 1 408 Wh to store the energy produced by the photovoltaic panel, positioned at the top of a mast of 7.30 m. The luminaire installed in simple bracket is a Tekk S.

The thirty streetlights installed in the Orléans-Gidy and Orleans-Saran areas light up in full force for 6 hours after dusk and 4 hours before dawn. The rest of the night, during the hours when there is less attendance, street lights provide a mark of the area thanks to an 25% dimming mode, and thus never leave the area in the dark.

Autonomous lighting by Novéa Energies is a clean, reliable and durable solution. Indeed, autonomous solar lighting is an alternative to the consumption of fossil fuels to limit the environmental impacts of public lighting. Simple installation, only one concrete block is necessary for its anchoring on the ground. In addition, no subscription to an electricity supplier is required.

The Novéa Energies solar streetlights are equipped with Endurance + technology batteries, developed after 6 years of research and development in partnership with the energy storage laboratory of C.E.A. (Commission of Atomic Energy) of Grenoble. Our Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries offer the longest life of the market, (more than 22 years in the limit of an overall capacity loss of 20%), which means less component replacement, so less production and waste management and thus a limited impact on the environment.
