The commercial space Leclerc Espace Culturel, in Carhaix Plouguer (France), wished to reinforce the comfort and the safety of the users by equipping the car park of thirteen autonomous solar streetlights Novea Energies. Two other lampposts will soon be installed to secure the pedestrian crossing linking the Leclerc Culturel / Maison to the Leclerc hypermarket. Thirteen stand-alone street lights powered by solar energy were installed in the parking lot of the commercial complex Leclerc Espace Culturel / Espace Maison in Carhaix Plouguer (France). Three variants have been chosen to secure the periphery of this store, namely: 9 COMBI TOP 4 with a 210 Wp solar panel, a TEKK S luminaire and a 1,064 Wh battery 2 COMBI TOP 5 with a 285 Wp solar panel, a 1,408 Wh battery, and a TEKK S double brackets luminaire with a nominal power of 20 W 2 COMBI TOP 5 with a 285 Wp solar panel, a 1,408 Wh battery, and a double brackets with TEKK S luminaire, each of which has a different power rating: 15 W and 25 W These thirteen solar street lights provide quality lighting that ensures the comfort and safety of users of the car park surrounding the shopping center Leclerc Espace culturel and Espace maison, thus avoiding being plunged in the darkness at the arrival of the night. For one of the variants consisting of two lampposts COMBI TOP 5 double brackets, the nominal power of the two luminaires of the same mast differs in order to adapt to the need of lighting of the zone. The lights are switched on every day at full power for three hours after dusk, the rest of the night until dawn, the lights are switched to dimming mode at 10% to ensure that the car park is marked during hours when there is little traffic. The lowering mode is very important because it allows the lighting to be adjusted if necessary to avoid unnecessary lighting. The second advantage of this watch is the extended life of the lighting streetlight components such as the battery and luminaire, which are used at full power only when necessary. The battery of our street lamps is equipped with Endurance+ technology, developed by Novea Energies in partnership with the CEA. This technology offers the best service life on the market thanks to its LifePO4 Lithium cells and its unique energy flow management. TEKK S luminaires are made of cast aluminium, which gives them the necessary robustness to last over time. The flat tempered glass bowl limits fouling and thus does not lose any of its lighting quality. Public street lamps powered by solar energy are an alternative to the consumption of fossil and polluting energies, which limits the environmental impact of public lighting. In addition, no electricity subscription to an energy supplier is required for the operation of these lampposts, which are totally autonomous.
