As part of a pilot project, the first lamppost of the AKKOR aesthetic range was installed in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. This lighting column is equipped with four high-efficiency solar panels, each 25 Wp, perfectly integrated into the structure of the column, a 345 Wh storage battery located in the mast and a luminaire integrated into the structure as a continuity of the structure. This AKKOR 1.4 provides full power illumination for four hours after dusk. During the rest of the night, the lighting switches to 20% dimming mode with presence detection. This means that the AKKOR solar-powered streetlight illuminates at full power when frequentation is at its highest, then switches to standby mode to ensure the marking of the premises and, if necessary, illuminated by the presence detection system. As with the COMBI TOP range of lampposts, the installation of an AKKOR lamp post does not involve heavy road works (trenching, track repairs, network installation), which has simplified and limited the cost of installation. Public lighting powered by solar energy is also a solution that limits the environmental impact of lighting, as it is an alternative to the consumption of fossil and polluting energy. Moreover, the operation of these totally autonomous street lighting columns does not require any subscription from an electricity supplier. The AKKOR range responds to the current problem of combining energy saving and aesthetics. The AKKOR range of solar-powered LED street lighting is available in several heights, with different powers of solar panels and battery capacities in order to meet a wide range of applications, such as squares, car parks, residential areas, parks, ambient lighting, etc. Additional information : Model AKKOR 1.4 Luminaire: Integrated AKKOR Solar panel : 4 x 25 Wp Light height : 4.0 m Technology and battery capacity: ENDURANCE + TECHNOLOGY 345 Wh RAL 2900 sanded grey
