A pretty alley in Coignières (78) is lit by the autonomous and economical streetlamp of Novéa Energies: the COMBI TOP 1

19/04/2021

The small city of Coignières, 4,350 inhabitants, is located in the Yvelines, just next to Trappes. Like many communities, the town has small narrow streets, complicated to light. However, the entry-level model from Novéa Energies, the COMBI TOP 1, fully meets the needs of this application thanks to its compact and efficient format.

candélabre autonome CT1The alleys like the one in Coignières are essential to allow a good circulation of the pedestrians in the city. However, to be able to offer a useful lane for users, it is necessary to light it up to secure its access as soon as night falls. However, for these narrow distances, here 1.50 m wide, digging trenches for the on-grid solutions get impossible. It is also necessary to consider the size of the luminaire, which must not be too large to properly light the path, and not the neighbouring hedges.

So the COMBI TOP 1 solution from Novéa Energies quickly emerged as the most suitable solution. Indeed, this set fully responds to the issues raised, firstly thanks to its autonomous operating, requiring less installation work and no connection. Then, it has reduced dimensions, here with a light height of 4 meters and above all an exclusive luminaire, which has a size of 38 cm. So the set takes up little space, leaving plenty of space for walking.

And the technical specifications are as important as the ones of other solar lampposts! The battery also uses the unique Endurance + technology, which offers the best service life on the market. Therefore, the maintenance costs of the streetlamp are reduced, for even more savings. The 60Wp panel supplies the 210Wh battery, ensuring that it provides light at the required intensity all over the year. Continuous service is ensured thanks to an autonomy of more than 6 days without sun. And the city customised its autonomous lamppost with the colour of its choice, a RAL 8017 for a natural chocolate finishing.

This achievement is a good example of the evolution of solar lighting over the past 10 years, and of the innovation developed by Novéa Energies, which today make it possible to offer autonomous public lighting for many applications: streets and paths. but also roads, parks, bus stops, …
