The housing scheme of the Euche, composed by 9 plots, is situated in the ancient centre of the village of Belgeard in Mayenne and was conceived by M.Lelièvre. Solicitous about offering to residents the best solutions, he turned over autonomous streetlamps of Novéa Energies to light his project. He opted for solar energy for different reasons. First for the use of renewable energy, more sustainable and respectful of the environment. But autonomous lighting also enable easier installation works than a traditional on-grid lighting, and lower costs since “there is no electronic clock and no cabling” as explains M. Lelievre. Therefore commercial agency B-Light Ouest advised him in his solar project, to define his lighting needs at the start and then at every step as he tells “I was very well guided and accompanied all over the project”. This support is essential to define the best autonomous lighting solution. For a use in residential area, it was decided to set the lampposts for a lighting of 2h after dusk and 2h before dawn. The rest of the night, they will switch on only with presence detection, for 45 seconds. Once the project was detailed, the photometric, energy and mechanical studies were realised by Novéa to propose the best solution: few Combi top 2, 4 on the main road and 2 on secondary one, will light all the area efficiently. These streetlamps are composed by a solar panel of 120 Wp and a battery of 532 Wh, which produce and store enough energy to operate uniformly all over the year thanks to an autonomy of more than 6 nights without solar gain. To finalise those lampposts, it was chosen a RAL of grey, and luminaire TEKK S with a bracket St Luc. The infrared detector is integrated directly in the luminaire, for a discreet and harmonious result. The sets are vanishing perfectly in the housing estate. The streetlamps have been installed in last October, for the enjoyment of the resident, as explains M. Lelievre : « The lampposts are well-designed, the lighting is nice and efficient and I have a good feedback of residents, I will recommend Novéa Energies ! ».
