Solar lighting for the Louly association in Sénégal

13/06/2018
During his last visit to Louly in December 2017, Daniel Level, Mayor of Fourqueux (headquarters of the association) and Jean-Pierre Lainel, Director of Technical Services of Fourqueux had promised to equip the school with two solar street lights to illuminate the school yard.Louly is a village located about twenty kilometers from Dakar. The Louly School Association in Senegal aims to help the school by finding donors and sponsors for young students. The school was created 3 years ago and a college will open next September. In close collaboration with the company RAGNI and our commercial agent Etudequipe, 2 autonomous solar lamp posts were financed for the association. The initiative was highly appreciated by the students, teachers and sisters who take care of the school.association-louly-lampadaire-solaire-senegalDo not hesitate to visit the website of the association www.loulysenegal.org. Donations and sponsorships are welcome ?Therefore, two autonomous solar street lamp, model COMBI TOP 3, with the GRIFF S luminaire from Novea Energies and SLIDE by Ragni were installed. These stand-alone streetlights are composed of a 160 Wp solar photovoltaic panel, our ENDURANCE + Technology battery with a capacity of 819 Wh, ensuring a lifetime of more than 20 years and an electronic regulation. These Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries developed in partnership with CEA Grenoble have been scientifically recognized as the most efficient and best suited to the solar street lighting market. For operation, the GRIFF S LED luminaire lights up at twilight in full power for 5 hours and 1 hour before dawn. Between these two periods, 50% standby operation, without presence detection. This management gives our solar lamp a great autonomy and a long battery life.Additional Information :
