A new subdivision of Saint Augustin (17) lit by solar energy

26/03/2019

The owner of a new subdivision in Saint Augustin, Charente Maritime (17), Terre Côte Ouest, opted for Novéa Énergies solar lamp posts to secure a residential road. These solar street lights have been installed for their innovative and ecological aspect.

Two COMBI TOP 2 with a 100 Wp solar panel and TEKK S luminaire were installed on a new subdivision street. The choice of autonomous solar powered was done naturally for the ecological aspect. Indeed, this ecological solution makes it possible to limit the environmental impacts by offering an alternative to the consumption of fossil and polluting energies.

COMBI TOP 2 - TEKK S - SAINT AUGUSTIN (17) - ROUTE LOTISSEMENT

These street lightings provide quality lighting to secure the traffic lane and the arrival at the crossing with a stop. Stand-alone lights illuminate in full force for six hours a night, four hours after dawn and two hours before dusk. During the rest of the night, streetlights go into standby mode at 10% with presence detection. This lighting secures both the bike path and the arrival at the road crossing. They provide comfort and security for residents and especially pedestrians.

Unlike the network-connected luminaires that were originally to be installed, the operation of these solar lamp posts does not involve any electric subscription to an energy supplier. A concrete block is sufficient for anchoring on the ground. This energy-autonomous lighting solution is easy to install and reduces the environmental impact while maintaining luminous comfort.
