Keen to create lasting partnerships on the African continent, the Ragni Group, made up for the companies Novéa Énergies and Ragni, set up this year two subsidiaries in West Africa: one in Dakar (Senegal) and the other in Abidjan (Ivory Coast). The choice of proximity for an optimal project approach The opening of the subsidiary in Abidjan is part of a development strategy in West Africa in order to be as close as possible to opportunities, employees and to better support ongoing projects. This proximity allows the Ragni Group to better understand the needs and problems of customers for successful and efficient cooperation and and qualitative public lighting installations. Launch of the subsidiary at the end of October 2022 The subsidiary Ragni Novéa Ivory Coast organized October 28 at the Ivory Trade Center (Cocody – Abidjan) an exceptional meeting with key Ivorian stakeholders (Ministries, State agencies, local authorities, private companies). On this occasion, the new subsidiary presented its vision and strategy for the coming years, exhibited Ragni Novéa products and discussed the challenges of sustainable public lighting adapted to the needs of Ivorians. The video of the event Supporting decision-makers with smart, on-grid and solar solutions The Ragni Novéa subsidiaries offer a complete offer: autonomous solar lighting, on-grid and smart lighting solutions. This flexibility allows to adapt to each need and application. Thus, we can mention some achievements of references in the country. In the city of Abidjan, the esplanade of the Presidential Palace, in the commune of Plateau and the boulevard de Marseille (zone 4) were lit with quality on-gris products. 1,200 candelabra of the same type were also installed by our partner CIE (Ivorian Electricity Company). The benefits of autonomous solar lighting solutions As for the achievements in autonomous solar lighting, we can mention the CIE Trades Center in Bingerville, the Victory Bridge in Grand Bassam (just before the town hall) and the Mé wastewater treatment plant in Abidjan. RAGNI-NOVÉA in Dakar: target 36,000 streetlights to be installed by 2024 The ANER project Through its subsidiary Ragni Novéa, the Ragni Group continues its development in West Africa with a major project on behalf of ANER (National Agency for Renewable Energies) and which was initiated by the President of the Republic of Senegal, His Excellency Macky SALL. The objective of this project is multiple: to strengthen public safety and the mobility of possessions and people in 147 Senegalese municipalities, but also to reduce public lighting bills for local authorities and to generalise the use of solar street lighting throughout the country (The advantages of autonomous solar lighting solutions (novea-energies.com). At the end of September, part of the Novéa Énergies team went to Senegal to train the ECOTRA construction teams, as well as install and present in Dakar the various solar lighting solutions of the project. The 36,000 lighting points will be installed over the next 24 months. An opening for future projects Wishing to work alongside African partners, the opening of the Senegalese subsidiary was born following the launch of the ANER project. The latter allowed proximity with local employees as well as customers, the training of site teams and the proper follow-up of the installation steps. In the longer term, the subsidiary's objective will be to work on new Senegalese lighting projects. Thanks to its strategy of establishement in West Africa (offices and local teams), the Ragni Group, represented by its subsidiaries Ragni Novéa, guarantees personalised, sustainable and efficient support to its customers.
