SMART AUTONOMOUS SOLAR LIGHTING IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

21/09/2018

The Manarati project is progressing! Here is a completely autonomous Zenit and feeding a wifi router and an environmental monitoring center. Sensors make it possible to measure environmental parameters (CO2, Nox, temperature, humidity and microparticles). Beyond environmental functions, the case emits WiFi for 14 hours a day and allows isolated populations to benefit from an internet connection and of course, lighting.
This intelligent solar street lamp is located in Hatta, United Arab Emirates.

This stand-alone lamp is composed of a 75 Wp photovoltaic solar panel on each side, a 1229 Wh battery storage battery, lithium endurance + technology ensuring a lifetime of more than 10 years and a electronic regulation. Endurance + technology, developed by Novea, thanks to its Lithium LiFePO4 cells and its unique management of energy flows, offers the longest service life of the market. LiFePO4 batteries have been scientifically recognized as the most efficient and best suited to the solar street lighting market.

As for the operation, the GRIFF XL LED luminaire switches on at twilight at full power for 4 hours, then switches to standby at 20 % until it turns off at dawn. This management gives our standalone lamp post a great autonomy and a long battery service life.

Thanks to Lumen at Work for this beautiful project !
