An intergenerational area in the municipality of Dzaoudzi-Labattoir illuminated by autonomous street lights of Novéa Energies

02/12/2021

In Mayotte, the municipality of Dzaoudzi-Labattoir has created an intergenerational public area in order to create links between citizens. In an environmental approach, they have chosen to light this place with Novéa Energies solar lighting solution.

On the island of Petite-Terre, the municipality of Dzaoudi has created an intergenerational area along Boulevard des Crabes. The objective is to offer a place that promotes social ties between residents, through discussions, meetings, games, activities, sharing of experience, solidarity.

Thus, to meet the needs of the municipality, Novéa Energies proposed 12 sets of its Combi Top 2 solution with the GRIFF S luminaire. These solar street lights offer a height of light of 5 meters to effectively illuminate the place. In addition, the ENDURANCE + battery and 120 Wp solar panel guarantee the same level of lighting all over the year. The poles have also benefited from a treatment adapted to the seashore and thus offer a high resistance to corrosion.

Finally, the set, coloured in a pearl white RAL 1013, allows the autonomous street lights to blend into the surroundings and echo the Ragni connected sets already installed on the Boulevard des Crabes.

This intergenerational area of Foungoujou Mroniumbeni will therefore be lit at full power for 3 hours after dusk so that residents can continue to discuss, play and meet, despite the nightfall. From around 9 p.m., passages will be occasional, the lighting will therefore be on dimming mode at 30% until 11 p.m. to still provide a secure place for citizens. The autonomous solar lighting of this place will therefore promote secure meetings and exchanges between citizens, whether they are children, adolescents, parents, elderly persons …
