Technical expertise and operational excellence are at the heart of Novea Energies’ DNA. We are not just suppliers of autonomous solar streetlights; we aspire to position ourselves as true partners for the personalized, turnkey co-construction of your public lighting. That’s why we support all stakeholders throughout the project and are committed to sharing our expertise and experience to enhance the skills of local teams in the countries where we develop our solar lighting activities. To achieve this, we offer a training program tailored in advance to each project and the expectations of future trainees. The goal is to transfer essential knowledge for the installation and maintenance of our autonomous solutions to local teams and to facilitate a concrete transfer of skills. For our main stakeholders, we provide both theoretical training on technical subjects (photovoltaic energy, storage technologies, key concepts in public lighting, etc.) and practical training (hands-on workshops, product repairs and testing on-site, etc.). Novea offers its clients numerous modules to create effective, customized training. Beyond this time of sharing, we remain available for any questions and assist teams during specific maintenance operations. Various tools have also been developed to support local teams at every stage, such as assembly sheets and tutorials adapted to field realities. Feedbacks on the training at the École des Mines et de la Métallurgie de Moanda-Gabon (E3MG) In partnership with Eramet Comilog, Olivier, one of our R&D project engineers specializing in electronics, travelled to the institution in October 2025 to train about thirty students from the Mining and Metallurgy Bachelor’s program and the Systems and Equipment Maintenance Bachelor’s program (Promo 8) at E3MG. Over the course of a week, they covered various topics related to our expertise in solar public lighting, such as energy storage, photovoltaic technology, and the specifics of electronics and IoT (Internet of Things). After classroom training with dynamic exchanges fuelled by strong interest in the subject, students were able to put their knowledge into practice through hands-on workshops and validate their skills with a final exam. To conclude the training week, the cohort visited a real installation in the city of Moanda to see firsthand the implementation of the technical choices studied. We once again thank the École des Mines de Moanda and Eramet Comilog for their renewed trust and for enabling us to organize these instructive and enriching moments of exchange. Eramet Comilog and Novea have been working together for several years and have supplied and installed around 4,400 solar streetlights in Moanda and the province of Haut-Ogooué. At the national level, Novea is proud to be the leading supplier of solar streetlights in Gabon.
