THE PERSONALISATION OF NOVÉA SOLAR LIGHTING SOLUTIONS

With the advent of renewable energy, solar lighting solutions have become an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to on-grid street lights. Novéa Énergies offers a lot of customisations to design bespoke autonomous lighting solutions. What are the customisation options for solar lighting solutions?

Customisation is available at every step of your lighting project, from range selection to finishing stage by way of the lighting scenarios.

Ranges

Novéa offers various ranges for your lighting projects. Firstly, the Combi Top range offers a wide selection of solar lighting solutions and brackets, adaptable to all projects thanks to different power options. The AKKOR range is also available, featuring discreet and modular solar columns with integrated or offset lighting.

The MULTI system is a very practical solution for shaded or dark sites, allowing the energy from a solar power plant to be transferred to other lighting solutions.

Luminaires and Poles

Novéa offers a wide range of luminaires and brackets through its affiliation with the RAGNI Group, a French designer and manufacturer since 1927. This is the widest range on the market and is available in classic, original, traditional, and modern designs.

Programming your systems

Programming allows for adjusting the brightness of autonomous lighting solutions to different levels during defined time slots. This allows for turning off, for example, in the middle of the night on an empty street or lowering to a certain level and completing with presence detection (see below).

 

Lighting Management Options

Intelligent lighting management is part of the desire and need for energy efficiency.

Indeed, intelligent public lighting management allows for the precise sizing of solar panels and battery capacity, thereby limiting the use of primary resources in the manufacturing process. Lighting according to the actual need thus leads to responsible lighting.

What are the possibilities for intelligent management? Several solutions exist:

 

Presence detection

Presence detection allows for dimming the lighting solutions to a certain level of intensity and raising it when someone passes by using a detector to light the area more brightly.

Presence detection limits energy consumption by providing “right” lighting, adapted to the needs of the location and its users.

Shorter lighting periods also help preserve the surrounding biodiversity.

The NOVMOOV Communicating Motion Detection System

This detection can be communicating through a wireless solution, allowing for one or more groups of lighting solutions to be turned on at full power simultaneously when a passenger approaches. This forms a light train that follows the user’s progress.

 

The color of the light flux

The photometric option allows for adaptation to all stakeholders, including biodiversity through optics and their color.

It’s important to use color temperatures close to yellow or warm white to avoid insect attraction. This color temperature is measured in Kelvin “K” and should not exceed 3000 K in a regular area or 2400 K on astronomical observation sites. The possible color temperatures at Novéa are: Amber – 2200K – 2700K – 3000 K. The choice of light flux colors for your next solar lighting solution should be considered based on your project.

 

Solar System Colors

Lighting solutions are often available in standard colors such as black, white, and gray. At Novéa, an almost infinite range of colors is available for your systems! Bright colors to brighten up a place, neutral colors to integrate the lighting solutions into their environment, or colors that match with the identity of your space (supermarket parking, children’s play area…). You can also choose pole sublimation, which is a wood-reproduction decoration that is perfect for natural applications!

 

 

Complementary Services for Users

Accessories can also be added to your solar lighting solutions to make them a true service and/or information tool. Thus, to personalise them, accessories such as a birdhouse, hanging scrolls or numbered plates can be added. Novéa has also designed a USB charging module, NOVLOAD, allowing the charging of USB devices such as mobile phones. In addition, the Piezo button located on the pole allows a user to turn on the streetlight as needed.

 

In conclusion, autonomous lighting solution can be customised in many ways to make them more energy-efficient, tailored to your needs, environmentally friendly, unique and attractive. The customisation possibilities at Novéa are extensive and can be adapted to your specific needs.
